Audience Feedback
From our first rough cut feedback we got a lot of positive feedback from our target audience. They showed very clear understanding of the narrative and found it very easy to follow the story. The audience found all of the shots to be really clear and well-focused which showed them that the production was of high quality. They also found that the editing was good when it came to being creative with the transitions between shots and appeared seamless.
However, we also became aware of ways to improve our sequence. We knew that to be able to develop our title sequence to a high standard we needed to go back over the sequence and cut down a lot of the shots and speed up some scenes so that they matched perfectly with other shots. Getting this feedback helped us as it enabled us to become aware that we had many ways to develop and that we could get even more creative with editing when it came to changing the order of the shots and changing speeds. This also lead to us learning new skills as we progressed further into the editing process.
